The trip home

No info from anyone today. We looked on the Air France website and see we're booked onto the 16:55 flight. All we can do is assume we'll be picked up around mid afternoon so we can't stray too far from the hotel. We're picked up at 15:00.

We get to the Air France desk to find we're not actually ticketed so have to go to the ticket desk and see if there are any seats. Shame we'd queued for an hour in the baggage line to find this out. We managed to get on to the flight but in seats at each end of the plane. The organisation was quite poor. We'll have to think twice before flying with Air France again!

We got home 24 hours late but had a great holiday nonetheless.

Oh..... Air France said it was a bird strike therefore we couldn't claim the cancelled flight compensation. Syndical old me wonders if it was really the case!

Amazing. Every major city has a Chinatown
