Pretty, picturesque Hope Town!!!

We are happy to be in this lovely little town, and little did we know, we got here at a great time of year. There aren't the crowds of the winter or spring, and many businesses close in about a week (mid-August), so we are just in time to still enjoy!

We've been here before. Four years ago we spent ten days in this area with John and Joanne on their catamaran. Really, nothing has changed. It's still just such a pretty little town with a beautiful beach running along the Atlantic side of the island and everything is within a ten minute walk of everything!

The mooring ball we took is part of the Hope Town Inn & Marina. And they have a freshwater SWIMMING POOL!!!! Yes!! Major bonus!! Actually, many places in this part of the Abacos have swimming pools so we have been swimming several times a day for the past 10 days now. It's a refreshing change from all the salt water in our lives!

We climbed to the top of the HT lighthouse. Gorgeous views!! I'll post though pictures when I can!!
