We were really roughing it today! We started off by cruising around the Isletas, where there are 365 little islands consisting of hotels, mansions, a graveyard and a monkey island! The morning was a little over cast which suited this trip as the humid temperatures are enough to deal with, but as we continued our busy day to a laguna beach club where they had VIP cubanas and hammocks overlooking the beautiful laguna, the sun came out which made for some amazing photos!
We spent a few hours there and it was like paradise! After relaxing at the laguna and having a go at paddle boarding and kayaking, we took a short ride up the mountain to Masaya volcano. The volcano was very active and its last explosion was in 2012. We took a hike up to the highest point in the national park and could see into a few of the dormant volcano craters which were very interesting.
After a busy day, the majority of the group decided to have pizza and beers around the pool. (Annie is now nicknamed 'Pizza Queen' by our tour guide!) It was a really nice way to end a busy but amazing
day in Granada!
Tomorrow morning we are going to a Kathy's Waffle House which is famous worldwide apparently, then checking out a hammock shop where they ship them home for a cheap price and Scotty has his eye on one for his room (he's picturing Liverpool, a bottle of Stella and a hammock) perfection! Before leaving we are going to go up to the highest viewpoint in Granada to get some cool snaps of this picturesque city.
We will then be moving on to our final stop in Nicaragua, Ometepe where we are staying with a local family for two nights which will be a different experience! We're looking forward to showing you all the pictures of the island made up of two volcanoes.

Loving Granada!
Ooh looks fabulous there .... love it!! Scotty, a hammock is the perfect piece of furniture for you! Andrew worried you could pull the ceiling down whilst watching Liverpool, with the one you've bought!!? Anyway, looks like you've swapped to Real Madrid now!! ? xxx
