This was our view on the afternoon we checked in. The cruise ship was there temporarily.
Bonjour from Quebec!

Yesterday (July 19th) we left for Quebec. It was a pleasant drive…. and easy to cross the border. The countryside in Canada looks almost the same as the U.S. except that the signs are in French and there are "moose crossing" signs as well as signs for frommageries (cheese shops)! Oh… and the signs are for kilometers instead of miles. Alex changed the mph on my car to kilometers so that we knew what the speed limit was. Good old Nigel (our GPS guide) got us to where we needed to go. Once we entered Quebec, you can see St. Lawrence and bicyclists on a bike path. Soon after… the old churches and cafes. It really does feel like Europe here!
