Life in the shire goes on, much as it has this past age...

I am totally done with sandwiches. I don't care if I eat another one for ten years. I have eaten more sandwiches this past month than probably in the whole of the last three years. Sandwiches are convenient when you are moving: no dishes, no utensils, simplicity itself and nourishing. But gol dang it all, what about variety?

Thus, this morning, amongst my wrapping paper refuse, I opened my first ever blue cheese - a gorgonzola made on 24 Jan 2015. Long before the moving plans were solidified, I solidified milk into curds and carefully developed them into a cheese. I did not die from it. I am stronger.

Congratulations on new home!
I finally got the travel blog to work on my phone and enjoyed reading your blog. There is writing talent on both sides of Nocola's family tree. Exciting times ahead for you and yours. Getting to know a new community presents all sorts of opportunities. Enjoy them all? I have to get back to yard work. Too many leaves...too big a yard...taking up too much time?
