At Sea en Route to Lisbon

Wednesday 28th January, 2015. At Sea en Route to Lisbon.

We had a quick breakfast in the restaurant and then made our way to the 9.30 lecture in the Aditorium. THis was called Tracking the Mountain Gorilla in the Remote Impenetrable Rainforest of Uganda. It was delivered by Billie Niblock the craft teacher who was lucky enough to go on a trip there about 7 lyears ago. It was really interesting and M has now added this trip to her bucket list. M went to the Keep Fit Class with Patty and then the four of us met for lunch in the buffet. We followed this up with the quiz (finishing 2nd) . We then went back to our cabins for a rest and to doll ourselves up for the first formal evening. At 7.30 we went into the theatre for the Captain's cocktail party. We then went for dinner with our table-mates which was very pleasant. M had tofu for the first time - trying to stick to her "diet". After this we went to the show which was called Rat Pack. It was OK but not as good as the ABBA show last night. We retired to our cabin still trying to find out how to bet in touch with Eva who we are due to meet tomorrow. There is no WiFi working on the ship at the moment!
