Hi
Now 9PM and back in the lobby of the hotel. Just had tea with Connie, Mollie Liz, Bob . For 12 Euro it was good value with water and wine red that is. First I had a tuna salad with anchovy, this was followed with fish similar to flounder with French fries , cool rice pudding and fresh bread on the table with vinegar, olive oil and salt. All very well done with lots of talking and exchange of e-mail addresses. Some have been chattering and just leaving the restaurant now. Liz got a email from Caroline to say that she plans to leave Burgos on Wednesday, which is the day we arrive so may catch up with her later but that is the ..walk.. people come and people go but we all have our own journey. We meet .. friends... that are going at your pace at that time . It has been an interesting time people watching. Shortly after getting to base I like to have a shower while others take longer..you change into clothes that you are going to wear tomorrow so less time in the morning for packing ... some people carry lots while others have
smaller bags .. mine is inbetween. Only about twenty in the room tonight while last night was three of us. Liz, Connie and me. Tonight is top bunk, am getting use to it now,and a pillow tonight which is not always the case, so Boris comes in handy in those cases. Last night was just a small place with the population of the village been 50. 300metres off the main road. Sunday so the village was quiet so had tea in the ambergie which was good .. but this was better tonight . Last night was soup and bread followed by stew with lots of meat and potatoes followed by a yoghurt. Basic but tasty and good company... love. Anne
