The Walk of Saint James 25 09 14

7.15am and outside the municipal accommodation here in Burgos. Chillies but going to be a good day I guess. We are not walking today but still up early. For 5 Euro the place was great. Put our boots on a cupboard downstairs which is a good idea as these days they are a bit muddy and smelly. Was given a bed number 231 and although in big rooms this was decided by beds and cupboard so you could not see the people also the roof was high so you do not feel cramped in. Top bunk and getting use to it. When I do get a bottom bunk keep banging my head.
Yesterday up early and coffee at the local cafe then a 2km walk down a track the locals use to get to the bus stop that took us to Burgos.. it was a great decision otherwise we would of had to walk 26km which included a hill. So here at 10.30am. So time to look around and find out where we were staying.. and yes had another coffee. . And plan our day that is Connie Liz and I. By the time you get in have a shower which had plenty of water and a hook to keep clothes dry why you have your shower. Some are so small there is only room for a person only..then did some washing.... most got dry except the socks which are in a separate bag to dry off later. Liz found out she has room for 9000 photos and I now have a chip in and can take 10000 photos and up to 2400 already so plenty more to come...Connie needs a strap for her knee to which we are still looking for. Then time for some food. A beer Dutch amstel with a tapas asparagus which was large and white with meat and cheese fried ,very nice.... people with packs walking pass .. seems strange not to join them but that is for tomorrow... today is to relax and enjoy Burgos as time wise we are doing well. And Burgos has so much to offer. After lunch hear that the museum was free after 4.30PM so we headed over the river to visit.. over two hours later we left. Was so much to see ..... it. Was the museum of human evolution and this area
