And we are off!
Official kick off of our trip. Left Chico for Redondo Beach, CA. Day 1- My name is Jen. Stephen is my boyfriend, let's call him, Sven. We have been together for 5+ years. We met in college and things moved forward from there. Stephen is a teacher and gets summers off. I quit my job due to acceptance into a dietetic internship which starts in the fall and decided to stop working early to allow for some adventure time before getting back into the grind of school. Therefore, we decided to plan an ultimate summer road trip of seeing friends, family, strangers, sites, hiking, swimming, biking, camping, relaxing, and enjoying the scenery. We only have a few weeks, roughly 6. So we are sticking to the western United States, primarily Ca, Ut, Wy, Or, Wa are the places of interest. (Stay tuned for all of that).
This is my first blog so be patient with me as I try to capture my groove. I'm sure Sven will contribute now and again. We plan to take pictures of all things that leave an impression on us and post about them here. Get excited because we sure are!!!
Road story already for day 1- Oroville, CA not far from home, we heard a LOUD pop which appeared to be on the inside of the car While driving on the highway. So of course we took the first exit to investigate. Searched any items that may be capable of making such noise and came up empty handed. No effing clue so we shrugged it off and got back on the road. Stay tuned for that as well, we may discover it as we move forward.
