As the morning progressed it has begun to be more people. The Colombian group, with 4 cars, was gone at noon. They have asked me where I have seen the police controls. They look posh kids, but I've already told them that they should not even take a little bit of weed in Chile because they will catch them. I hope they know what they do. I drove to the border and have made my official entry into Argentina and have a new puncture repaired (old patch that has failed). Hence downhill through the beautiful valley of the Aconcagua to Punta de Vacas and some more 50 km by a flatter valley to Uspallata. In that almost flat area I had strong headwind. In Uspallata I found a rafting company with a hostel. I stay here ($10) and also they are going to do me a favor and keep my bike for about 10 days in his grounds, I'm going from here by bus to Buenos Aires and from there to Montevideo, to spend a few days. I had forgotten how beautiful the Aconcagua Valley is, I did this stretch of road 2 years ago in bus. The descent was a fantastic ride!
