We left a rainy, grey Autumn day in Manchester in the UK and took the Easy Jet flight to Santorini in Greece. On arrival the sun was shining with clear blue skies above. Santorini Airport is fairly basic but passport control and baggage reclaim were quick.
The taxi fare for a 10 minute journey was 18 Euros but at least we got close to our Tzekos Villas accommodation. Most of the accommodation is perched on the volcanic rim or cliff edge and many steps have to be negotiated. Not easy with suitcases.
Our room and balcony overlooked the volcano and the caldera and it was great to sit with a glass of wine in the evening and watch the wonderful sunsets.

Cheers!
That glass of wine in such an idyllic spot must have tasted extra good. M xx
