We are finally at sea! And not the Bering Sea but I had to pick one to get this blog to work. Anyway, we left Seattle at noon and left the Str. of Juan de Fuca about seven and hit 15' swells. Thankfully the dramamine is working!!! Walt has good sea legs and seems to be immune to mal de mer. The show tonight was a very good illusionist much to Walt's delight. Now I'm going to sleep to escape Walt's repeated "Shiver me timbers!" Hopefully tomorrow will find us sailing smoother waters..

Cure for seasickness...
A number of TBers recommended Sea Bands, elastic wrist cuffs with a nob that presses against the vein side of your wrist. I am very sensitive to seasickness so I tried them (one on each wrist), and it worked! I wasn't sick at all on our cruise from Honolulu to Sydney. I don't know if they sell them on the ship so you may have to wait until you get to Honolulu.

Waved at you from 10am to 11 am. Saw you increase to 20 knots due west of Yaquina Bay. Did they have a crossing the 45th parallel ceremony? Calmer seas down south, eh? Lights out!
