After a rocky start to the airport, which I'll be able to turn into a funny story later, we made our flight and got to a rainy and cool Seattle. But just in time for lunch. Had the safety muster this afternoon (without life vests) and in continuing rain. Then the captain announced that a big storm off the coast was keeping us docked until tomorrow. He was talking about 30-foot swells and 60 mph wind. Don't know yet what this will do to our arrival time in Los Angeles where we were renting a car, but a ship full of sick people ain't no fun! But maybe it will be sunny tomorrow and my dream of a great photo of the Oosterdam pulling away from the dock with downtown Seattle (and the Spaceneedle) with Rainer in the background will come true!
