Today we drove from Auburn to Morgan via the Barossa Valley (Tanunda).
We visited a few wineries - Chateau Tanunda, magnificent huge winery and lovely old buildings. Wolf Blass and Jacobs Creek.
We enjoyed our time in the Barossa Valley.
We drove on to Blanchtown, where we hoped to spend the night but the caravan park was booked out, we tried the next Town and they were also booked out. It was now getting dark and we were hoping to get in somewhere before it got too late.
We rang a van park in Morgan and they said that they could put us on unpowered sites. We were so happy to finally get somewhere to spend the night. Morgan was a 30km drive along a dirt road. We were relieved to finally reach the Caravan Park and get off the road. It is the long weekend and that is why we were having trouble finding a vacancy.
It is quite dark but I think that we are beside a River. I am looking forward to daylight so as I can see where we are.
