These two we met as explained. They were very cordial and helpful. As close as we'll get to those two productions.
Wow! What a place! There is so much to see, but after awhile, one gets tired of trying to take it all in. Everything is so spectacular - and more spectacular - and even more spectacular! The heat is something else - around 100 degrees, and very humid. My energy level is pretty low. We walk for several blocks, but we are always looking for the shady side of the street, and hoping for a bit of a breeze. While going from one place to another, the "people-watching" is most interesting. There is a real mix of nationalities, and English is not spoken as often as one would expect. Generally speaking, people are very friendly and helpful. We asked one pair (she was carrying an instrument) where she was going to play it. She was part of the orchestra for "The Producers", and he was performing in "Mama Mia" .It was kind of fun to talk to them. I think we are going to miss "Wicked", because it was sold out except for the $250 seats on the days we could go. I couldn't believe that we located the church and temple in the middle of all this
hustle and bustle. It was pretty neat. I'll close, and we'll be off.

Crazy Canucks
You two certainly are living the life Bohemian down there...hostel and all??? You are also brave to have stayed in New Joysy...are you catching any cool new accents? We enjoyed the picture of Rose listening to the walking tours on top of the Empire...but she looked a lot like Don in that picture. When on top of the Empire state, all I could do was think how much I hated the insurance companies whose buildings you could see below. Hope you enjoy your musicals. Enjoy the hot weather. It's been raining here non-stop, which is good for the sod we just planted. Great job on the bloggery!!! XOXO S
