Hidy ho blogger buddies,
So, my time in Mcleod has come to an end. Over the last month I have been continuing to teach classes at Tibet Charity. I was very sad to leave as I got really attatched to the students and absolutely love teaching. It's a bit of a power trip once you're used to it! The students are so sweet and appreciative of the teachers. Maartje and I talked about how the tibetans are really too sweet for this world.
Around teaching I have been mostly chilling in various ways. I have been really lucky to have been in Mcleod for both the Dalai Lama's and the Karmapa's birthdays. (The Karmapa is the third most highly regarded Lama in Tibetan buddhism, behind the Dalai Lama and the Panchen Lama (who I mentioned last time, were you paying attention?)) Both were marked by big celebrations around the town and monasteries.
The Dalai Lama's teachings were fascinating and one time he walked right next to me and looked right at me and and smiled! Woo!
I have latched myself onto various backpackers travelling through Mcleod and then spent most of the last few weeks with my teaching buddies David and
Sun? No, it can't be! Sun? No, it can't be! Sun? No, it can't be!

In Mcleod we forget what sunshine looks like during the Monsoon
Maartje. The last day in the town was really special. We got up really early in the morning (far too early for having been up drinking till half four!) trekked a little up the hills to a huge school ground and played football for hours in the raging monsoon with the monks. That's a keeper.
So, back in Delhi. Weather's not too bad. Not good enough, however, to get me out of my room and away from my TV and room service.
Well guys, I guess that about wraps things up. This time tomorrow I'll be on the plane home, craziness! It's been an absolutely incredible experience but as the old saying goes; all good things must come to those who are a Guiness.... Or someting like that.
Ciao for now,
Chris
