Hi All,

We've had a relaxing few days here in Shanghai. We spent the first day relaxing in the hostel and we went out for a walk down Nanjing Road in the evening.

On Saturday I tried to hunt down some train tickets for us to get home but there are none left there aren't even any tickets to Changsha either so we're having to fly back home. One good thing is that it only takes a couple of hours instead of the 17-19 hours that the train usually takes. With an extra day in hand we're going to stay in Changsha on Monday night and travel back to Shaoyang on Tuesday. Saturday evening we went to one of my favourite restaurants in China The Uigher Restaurant on Yishan Road. I even had a twirl at doing some traditional dancing. The food as ever was delicious and it was packed.

Today, Sunday, we went over to the Pudong area of the city and visited the Shanghai Aquarium. I really enjoyed it. The tunnels under the water were great fun and I'm sure one of the turtles was eye-balling me! After lunch we went for a stroll along the river to see the views of The Bund and then we took the Bund Tourist Tunnel under the river. If I'm honest it was a waste of money. Sitting in a bizarre Logan's Run style metro carriage travelling through a tunnel of flashing lights. Odd.

I hope you enjoy the photos of the aquarium it wasn't easy taking the photos in low light behind glass and the fish just wouldn't pose.

Pesky Critters!!!

Jah Bless
