Day 3 - Eau Claire, WI to Fargo, ND

On the road again!

Our day started with another morning swim then back in the car for the short trip to Mall of America in Minneapolis, MN. The Mall is huge but logical unlike West Edmonton Mall where you have to walk for miles. And the Nickelodeon fun park is awesome. The rides are so good. We ended up spending almost 4 hours in the mall having fun. The main purpose was the theme park and the Lego store. Kids were over the moon with excitement. Poor Oskar got to endure that time waiting in the car. Good thing the weather has been so nice, he didn't get cold or anything otherwise we would have had to cut the visit short. Poor little guy. While Louie was on a ride, Molly begged me to play one of those carnival-type games. You know the one, where you toss the ping pong ball into the floating dishes. All these games are designed to make you lose. I got Molly a bucket of balls for $5 and let her go to it. I decided to toss a few myself. My first toss landed the ball in the orange bowl, of which there were 2. Not thinking much of it because I didn't pay attention to the prize categories presented when we purchased the balls. Because who really pays attention to that anyway because no one ever wins. Well, I won the biggest stinking stuffed animal in the place. And of course, Molly picked the pink and purple Scooby-Doo. We have a packed Honda Fit, where is this thing going to go? Oh, front seat with Oskar! Poor guy. haha

Back on the road, we were off to Fargo, ND. Yesterday was an extremely long day and I didn't get much sleep last night so we are calling it a day at the border of North Dakota. Our travel agent is brilliant and even found us a BW with a waterpark! Jackpot. A great swim at the pool and now quiet time. Louie has to build his Lego first before bed and Molly finally dropped from exhaustion.

So far, our trip has been a lot of fun with some great stops planned for tomorrow. Time to relax and get some sleep.

This is fantastic - I feel like I'm traveling with you guys! Cart is sitting here salivating...."lego land and a water park - Louie is sooo lucky!" I can't wait to read about tomorrow's adventures. Sleep well!
