As we entered our room in Cape Town
We found flowers, bubbly, fresh fruit...We left on our honeymoon from our house 9:30pm on Monday Oct 1, 2012 flying out of SFO to JFK for a 4 hour layover... really hate that airport... so filthy didn't want to touch anything anywhere, and had a terrible time finding something for breakfast.
Got on a flight from JFK to Johannesburg and arrived there ~8am on Wednesday Oct 3, 2012 for a 2 hr layover... barely made our flight to Cape Town due to all of the lines and our flight being 30 mins late... unfortunately our luggage didn't make the flight and it decided to fly on two separate flights. We arrived into Cape Town around 1pm and our bags made it around 5pm.
We were both really surprised how easy the flights were on us... watched a lot of movies and many episodes of "Homeland" which we had downloaded before leaving... reallly like that show and watching everything using our awesome new Bose noise cancelling headsets made all of the difference in the world.
Love our hotel! We arrived to flowers, fresh fruit, champagne, and rose petals on our bed. We were exhausted and lazy, so room
service it was for dinner and early bed time. Views shown are from our hotel room window.
