HAPPY BIRTHDAY PRISCILLA!!!!!
First thing I did when I woke up this morning was send P a FB bday note 😊

We slept 14 hrs!! The good news is we didn't wake up once during the night, so no jet-lag issues, just tired because we basically didn't sleep during our flights. Thus, today is our LAZY day!! Had an awesome big breakfast at the hotel and then walked around Cape Town.

Unfortunately very San Francisco weather... foggy and drizzly. Checked out a ton of shops, looked at lots of jewelry (will probably buy something) where John found a ring he's planning to buy as his travel wedding band, went to the diamond museum, ate a snack at Ferryman's Brewery where Oktoberfest is happening all week (yea!!), bought a bottle of local Pinotage for the room, then went and had fabulous 90 min couples massages.

Had dinner at Karibu South African dining. Jessica had: Butternut squash soup and the "Malay Vegetable Feast" which was a medley of chickpeas, butter beans, brown lentils, kidney beans layered with eggplant and topped with yogurt and feta then baked. John had crocodile carpaccio and 3 different venisons. Had an awesome sommelier who made fabulous recommends for dinner and also told us his secret places to go to when we are in wine country 😊

After dinner we went back to Ferryman's Brewery for beers in the beer-garden and there was an awesome rock cover band playing. Back to the hotel around midnight when the band stopped playing.

We kept calling this eye sore "Lego Man" until we got closer and realized these are all Coke crates... Coke is very big here...
