Golden Gate Bridge

Whatup! im pretty much american now, i really do say gas! will try and stop when i leave tho so dont worry!



so last night was wicked, met a couple who are engaged from bristol (been engaged for 2.5 years) and we went to a bar, got checked for id every round, which was confusing youd think they would remember...... then came back had loads of free beer and played beer pong! the main hostel guy is insane and shouted woooooo after every thing he said! Dan from bristol got smashed and was sick in the toilet and came out with loo roll wrapped aroung his head for some reason! was hilarious! he woke up on 6th floor stairs! i wasnt quite so bad but was a great night!

then got up this morning and stuck to the plan to cycle the golden gate bridge! cept we got lost and ended up renting our bikes from the other side of san fran! so many hills it killed us. so yeh rented them and cycled to the bridge down the waterfront, i learnt to bunny hop and the others were laughing at me for finding it so entertaining! saw a crazy woman detained by the police, and for some reason a massive fire truck was present in case she caught on fire??? got to the bridge and watched some crazy surfers near the rocks (wearing helmets!) then cycled up a horrible hill to cross the bridge! was sooooooo high, has slightly put me off considering bungee jumping but will give it a try! was an amazing structure, got to th other side and had a long downhill cycle to a old harbour town called sausalito where we stopped and had a few burgers, then got the ferry back and saw alcatraz! i cant do alcatraz as its all booked up whilst i am here coz americans are mega organised so counted that as "doing" alcatraz, and it was amazing!!!!! well it was cool.

Major highlight of the day: free ice cream cone at ben and jerrys! boooh yah! meant i didnt spend 6 dollars on a b and j milkshake so alls good!



ended up walking again! major hills and got back and conked out in bed, up again now to get free beer and vodka then see what happens with that!

You definitely stayed in the same hostel I did! Free beer and beer pong! And that's how I 'did' Alcatraz too! Never mind...
