Final packing and off to London, overcast and rainy. Great train, with wifi, makes Sydney system look very very primitive.
Leeds, well at least where we are, is very multicultural, There doesn't seem to be any sort of majority, just lots and lots of minoriti es.
got to London no problems, travel cards bought we set off for covent garden, I got us lost within 1 minute, I always thought I had a goodsense of direction, maybe I'm just getting old.
We set off at 1pm after checking in to a larger room than expected, have only just stopped at 7pm. Walked to Buck house, did the royal mews, went via a great si fi shop and fortnum and masons, Greg had to drag me out of both no purchases but I'll be back!!!!!
From there on to Wesminster, big Ben, river cruise up to the tower of London and then we walked all the way back to the hotel via a very impressive lit up st Paul's the kids finally got McDonald's for the first time since we left, Greg and I are holding out a good old Indian takeaway.
Think we will sleep well.
Has rained on and off today, still about 9 degrees so not too bad.

Man you really seemed to cram it in today. Sounds like your having loads of fun. I think you should get Kasey a horse!!
