We received an email last night from CCAI (adoption agency) that they did receive our travel approval letter from China yesterday. Now we just have wait for the US Consulate office to return from New Years vacation and issue our appointment date for our visit to the Consulate which will be the last thing we have to do before returning to the states. They take, on average 1 to 3 business days so CCAI is still shooting for our group leaving around the 8th.
They also confirmed because of going to two Providences we would be in country approximately 3 weeks. So...unless someone else in our group is also going for 2 daughters or sons we most likely will not be coming back with the same group, not sure if we'll even be coming back with a group. That should be interesting! I'm thinking we're really going to wish we were fluent in Mandarin before this trips is done.
Getting closer and boy the butterflies in our stomachs had really started to flutter, more of a stomping really.
