It was a day of rest.
After coffee I had to drag Oscar around for his walk, he just didn’t want to go. He proceeded to sleep all day. In the sun, in the shade, on the rocks and on his blanket. What a life.
I was busy. First I went to the laundry and did 2 loads of wash. Then I ripped the camper apart one piece at a time. I was tired of sleeping next to the kayak (inflatable) and decided there was someplace it would fit. I laid it out on the picnic table in the sun to get all soft and pliable then folded it into a nice small bundle. I took all the stuff out from the back and it fit there with the rest of the essentials that were already there. I put the paddles under the bed in the front part and the life jackets (2) fit under the seat on the side/back along with my winter coat. I’m a girl scout…be prepared.
Caught up on my e mail, and other computer stuff then decided I better get some fresh veggies and fruit since I am heading for Yellowstone tomorrow and I don’t know what kind of stores they have. I had to take the screens off the windows (thanks John), disconnect the water and electric, close the windows and secure all the junk I had out. I started the engine and Oscar looked at me like “What do you think you are doing”.
So down the road we went and I made notes about where I wanted to stop on the way home for pictures or just a walk. I found a roadside stand in Cody (18 miles east) and got great tomatoes, corn, plums and a cantaloupe. Then I found Walmart and got a few things like a long handled window washing tool. I have to take a picture of the front of the van, it is one big bug.
I took some pictures of the Cody Reservoir, miles long and very impressive. On the lake were 4 white pelicans which are seen here in WY.
So we traveled 37 miles today. I feel well rested and eager for the adventures in “Colter’s Hell”.
The moon is rising over the mountain and is just brilliant. It’s 8:30 and pitch dark, hope the bears don’t come out tonight.
Hope all is well home, good night all.

I think you added a bit of shade to that camper. Looks great, I\'m excited and scared!
