1 finishes, another begins

Hey y'all,

Hows everyone doing?

Well this is it. One adventure finishes, and another begins. Tomorrow, I move out of my comftable surroundings of Vancouver city (and sofa) and up the windy path to Whistler ( to a matress)!!

This past week i've been partying (nothing unusual there) going to late night viewing of X-men3 (after drinking, Hairy Ape Man its wicked!) and climbing up Grouse Mountain (again after drinking). Does anyone see a pattern developing?? Grouse was pretty cool. Its only 2k up, but my god did it work the leg muscles. Rich and I took a steady pace, taking our time, only to be over taken by OAPs who do the grind once a week. Infact, some insane people run up it. Personally, I think thats an urban legand though!!!! It can't possably be true....

So, i finally got my car today. Its been a long time coming. It had a bit of work needed doing to it ie I windscreen, but thats all fixed now. I drove it to Ikea to buy bedding, yes, I got a bight pink duvet cover and matching pillows, and after only a few minor hic ups, I think I did pretty well (although I think that Kev might have something to say about that). Having the gear stick on the wrong side is a little confusing I must admit, but thats come natural with practice (I hope). I now have the exciting 2 hour mountain drive ON MY OWN to indure....... Woo Hoo and I start working on Thurs. Not entirley sure what I'll be doing, but it seems pretty laid back and should be great fun. I'l keep you posted.

Well.. what she doesn't mention is the reason that bumper sticker is there is b/c we made fun of the country radio station bumper sticker she had on there before hand!! As for her driving - well, yeah, I'll make fun of it and give her a hard time about it. But I'm actually quite impressed with how well she did! (Don't tell her I said that though!!)
