The day did not start that well. Liz had problems during the night. Her legs were very sore from all the walks we did in Mykonos, Athens and yesterday in Paris. After we had our breakfast we went to look for a Pharmacist to see if we could get something to relieve the pain. We did find one, there must be a lot of sick people here for there are plenty of Pharmaceutics. The one we found was also a Doctor so that was handy. She had a look and gave a cream to put on her legs. Back at the Hotel Liz creamed her legs and sat for a while with her legs up. It did help and even felt for going out. We left early afternoon to see the Church of the Sacred Heart and of course Montmartre. We took the metro. We must say it is one of the best ways to get around in Paris apart from taxis, but they are to expensive. Metro is very quick if you can find where you have to go, that takes longer than the trip it self. At the place we saw the church is on top of a big

hill with lots of steps, not the way to go for Liz. So i went and had a go at it. No photos allowed inside the church, you probably have to buy the cards they sell. Found Liz back at the bottom and walking around there we saw there was also a Skye rail that takes you up. Liz wanted to see it so we went up with the rail. We had to go up anyway for Montmartre is behind the church. Very small street with lots of souvenirs stalls that try you to sell you shawls, shirts, small Eifel towers. If you buy them they usual Finnish up collecting dust. So we left that part, although Liz did get a nice shawl. We found Rue De Tetre where all the Artists do their paintings and drawings We walked around the little square that was filled with tourists. We found a nice place where we had something to eat and drink, and most imported gave Liz a rest. Take my hat of for her, she does okay. We took the Skye rail and metro back to the Hotel. There we had a nice cold beer, Liz put her legs back up and

watched the news on CNN . Later we will go out to have an evening meal. People start to get alive around 8 at night. They sit on the terrace drinking small cups of coffee or a glass of wine and have a meal. So we do the same. Tomorrow we will leave Paris to pick up a car, and no doubt will give us further adventures in the near future. For now it is Bye Bye and maybe we be back tomorrow with our first car trip to Normandy. Liz & Allan
