Hi All,

Next instalment!
Brian and Debbie have now caught up with us, we have being sailing together for two days now. We landed in Exmouth today 25th April we are anchored outside the Novotel Resort, it is very nice. We went for a swim as soon as we got settled it was so hot, we swan across to Brian and Debbie’s boat had a cuppa with them. They don’t go into the water they love being on it not in it.

In getting here today went through some rough seas going around the North West cape of Exmouth have a look on a map and see what we mean. It can be a very, very rough few miles getting around. Although Brian stated it wasn’t too bad today.
We rode those waves like a cowboy ‘Ride them cowboy’ we were relieved to be on the other side of the cape.

We saw the sights of the Exmouth lighthouse, the lighthouse caravan Park units up on the hill. We passed lots of tour boats doing there whale shark tours etc…., it was very busy on the water when we were passing through, boats fishing etc needed to make sure we didn’t hit someone dodgem boats. LOL Plenty to look at.

Tomorrow we will go into Exmouth and stock up on supplies, grog and petrol. We have sundowners with Debbie and Brian each evening it is lovely. It is most enjoyable getting to know them better, having a few drinks and planning our next day.
Brian is very talented musician he plays banjo, guitar, mandolin, violin, mouth organ and penny whistle. Debbie plays the sax and mandolin. Brian came with his banjo the other night and we sang and had a great night. They are a lovely couple great to be around, very positive people. Brian is his own man!

What an ordeal it is getting supplies, petrol and water!
I don’t know where to begin?
Exmouth is buzzing with people, we went into the bakery and there must have been 50 people in there before us, we decided to go else where and come back later.

Before we started off for our big day Debbie said would you like us to bring a spare Shopping (Granny style) trolley to bring your shopping back in, Dave and I said yes!
Because it is a long way there and back, about 4 ks round trip lugging all our shopping. Debbie has a hot pink one she wheels it there to the shops and when it is full Brian wheels it back to the boat, Brian stated he is not fussed on the hot pink one. God we laughed, they lent us a black one.
I tell you they were wonderful. I never could see myself with one even when I was older but it was so good! We bought one, a lovely red one ha Ha Ha what next!!!!!!!!!!

Another lovely person from the Yacht club up here lent us his car so we could go and get petrol (Petrol is not for our new trolley I am fussy what goes in it to heavy anyway haa) It was a lovely gesture of him and we were very appreciative.

Today (Wednesday) is very over cast and we had rain last night the boat rocked and rolled all night and it wasn’t Dave and I making it rock let me tell you. So we have stayed put today again, doing washing, fixing a few things on the boat.

The Carnarvon Mob of wind rushes (small boats) are coming up here on the weekend for a tournament with Exmouth. There will be a dinner and a singer on the Saturday night so the four of us have decided we will go off tomorrow to the Bay of Rest then coming back on the Friday. Deb and I don’t want to watch the racing so we will go for a walk into the shopping centre, the dinner and singing on Saturday night sound good.

Hi Mali my gorgeous boy how are you doing? We are seeing lots of fish in the water. I hear potty training is going well, but you are meant to go wee wee in the potty not on the floor near the potty.
Love to you all till next time.
