This morning after breakfast we had a walk around this beautiful town of Bude. We walked along the path on top of the ridge and along the waterfront.
We departed at around 9.30am to travel north to meet my cousin's wife, Sue (Cousin Jerry was away in America).
We thought we would have plenty of time to take a small detour to visit Titchberry. Navman had other ideas LOL and we spent some time negotiating narrow laneways (as if in a maze).
Finally we found our way back to the main road and continued on our way to Braunton. We arrived in Braunton in plenty of time to meet Sue but found that she lived quite a long way from Braunton in a small village called, Georgeham.
It was a lovely drive around through the beachside suburbs of Saunton and Croyde. The road was situated on the edge of the cliff face. The views were spectacular along this section of road.
We met Sue in Georgeham and also were able to spend some time with her son Daniel and grandson, Archie.
We had a lovely look around the Village and then continued on our journey north.
We travelled as far as
Abergavenny today, and found a B& B called the Park Guesthouse. It was fine but it did have the smallest shower we have ever seen LOL
We walked in to Town and had dinner at the local pub.

How lovely to see Sue, Dan and Archie! A shame you didn't get to meet Jerry, but maybe soon! They are such a lovely family!
