Tuesday 19th

Hi All,

Another day full of adventure as Colin my son-in law would say.
Second attempt to get into Coral Bay Village got our tender sorted got to the shore no worries on a winner today we thought!
We will walk around the point and walk along the waters edge me carry a back pack Dave carrying a 10lt container for fuel, we walked about 1k and a half before the water was too deep to keep walking woops ( did I forget to mention the 4ft sand coloured shark that was within the shallows with us and David with no adventure in him), what do we do now! Climb up the sands dunes, I didn’t know I would be crawling up sand dunes, well maybe a sleight exaggeration! Thank God there was a sea breeze 34 deg!
We continued up and down dunes this went on for another 2 half ks, I must say the view was sensational we continued on and finally got there phew!!!!!!!

The first person we saw was the man who owns the Quad Bike Tours (not that we knew that then) we went over to him and asked would he takes us back on the bikes? He stated no we are not going down that way today with Tours, but I will take you in the car when you are ready. I could have jumped up and kissed him.

We went to the beautiful Coral Bay bakery first thing as we were hot and bothered. Got something to eat and drink, we sat there for an hour watching all the goings on around us. Got a few supplies some more fuel found a shady spot, went for a swim then went back to Kim, the owner of the Tour Bikes and said we were ready but will be happy to go when you are, he stated give me 10mins and off we went, he was a lovely guy and we were very grateful. We gave him some money but wouldn’t take stating it was his pleasure; we insisted he at least take $20.00 for a drink.

We got in our tender (like the lingo) and motored back to our boat and got settled for the night.

David cleaned out the seemingly non operational freezer and decided that the steak had to go. Fridge cleaned and said steak thrown overboard David noticed fish attracted by the steak. It will be fish for dinner tonight he said as he reached for his trusty or was that rusty rod & reel. He seemed to know what he was doing until those immortal works “I must be related to Russel Coight and this funny net making thing was supposed to be a reel.” Fishing seemed to be over.

Swam had drinks. Let me see what will we have for dinner tonight???? Perhaps meatball in tomatoes and chilli sauce with rice, mmmmm sound good.
Weather has been as to be expected nice breeze temp in the low 30’s water like a cool bath, lost you yet?

Brian and Debbie are ready to leave Carnarvon Wed 20th and overnight it to catch up, we will move on to Pt Cloates and await there arrival.

See you
Love you all xxxxxx
