I arrived here at Jessies flat in Haitai on saturday afternoon. I came a day early so I could catch her at meal times because she is up to her eyeballs in assignments and deadlines. It's all over for her by the end of the week. Great timing aye?!!
It's been absolutly beautiful here and so I ave walked from haitaitai through The Mt Vic tunnel around the basin reserve and into the city twice now. That tunnel is quite long and really noisey. Off to the airport early tomorrow and then off to Auckland at 10.00am. Then I have a 3 hour wait and then off to Los Angeles (12 1/2 hours). Then 4 hours later I'm off to Dallas (an't remember how long. About 4 or 5 hours). Then the final flight to Amarillo (1 hour 10mins) If that's not enough we have a 2 1/2 hour drive to Dalhart.
I think I might feel like a walking zombie after all that. Lets see.
I used to live in New Zealand until life changed. At 50 years of age I was made redundant from a career that I knew well. My twenty five years as a Commercial Real Estate Specialist was over. So I went home and rennovated the kitchen and totally landscaped the back yard before I joined forces with a couple of my University colleagues and started a new business. I doing a similar thing with the flights when we flew to Jacksonville - either flying or waiting in airports for the best part of 48 hours.
