Hi all, well we have made it half way across Oz. Currently in Ceduna SA.
Along the way to Ceduna, once again we were surprised by the amount of greenery. It has certainly changed since Helen McKellar’s poem ‘a sunburnt country’, however her ‘rolling plains’ are still the same. I did get to see a ‘roo’ unfortunately he was dearly departed.

We remain amazed at the diverse utilisation of our country. We passed sheep stations, cattle ranches, wheat fields and one unidentified crop that went on for miles and miles. Also mining of iron and granite.
We have noticed that the road side rest areas are not good in SA. Last night we decided to rough it and pulled into a rest site just off the highway. It was very peaceful and we made a camp fire and cooked our dinner. NB. We are about to start to across the Nullarbor Plains today, so we probably will not be able to update or have phone contact for a couple of days.
Message for John T and Marise. I can direct the hitch in 2 goes. Much quicker with out Mal....lol
I love all this new technology. Really enjoy being able to have video calls with my friends and family via Skype and its FREE. I had a lovely talk with my friend flo in Canada, she said it was like I was sitting in her lounge room. Had a couple of video chats with Marise and John. Come on Corey and Brent, open your wallets and buy a camera. JB have them for only $37.

Hey guys, Still cant believe use actually bought the van and left i still rememeber drawing the plans for the 'bus' in chalk with dad on the concrete lol. $37 mum im a struggling uni student that has been kicked out on the street trying to fend for himself i cant afford extravagant thing like this..
