Les Invalides Les Invalides Les Invalides

(Napoleon Bonaparte is buried here)
This was another great day. We started out with a Paris city tour with Veronique. Sophie and Jeanne stayed on the coach with Francy and Veronique. They went on to Versailles. The rest of us got off the coach at the Arc de Triomphe, walked down the Champs Elysees, had lunch, walked through the Tuileries, crossed the Seine to the Musee d'Orsay, back past the Louvre with its famous pyramids and up to meet the group again at the Opera Garnier. We enjoyed a tour through the musee de parfaum Fragonard. From there, we went to dinner, then on a river cruise on a Bateau Mouche and finally, we climbed to the top of the Eiffel Tower. Well, we took the elevators. Afterwards, we enjoyed some crepes au chocolat and took the metro back to our hotel. Tomorrow, we leave Paris for the Loire Valley and the Chateaux.
