This is just going to be a short posting as I am tired after 30+ hours of travel, what a long day full of hiccups but in the end I ended up in Cairo with my luggage a full hour before the curfew. I had no idea how massive Heathrow airport is I had about 30 minutes to get from one gate in terminal 5 to another it took a buss a tram and a lot of running \ fast walking and I barely made it,I have no idea how they managed to unload my luggage, sort it and get it on my Cairo plane so far away in such a short amount of time.

The first thing I noticed in my cab ride from the airport to my hotel was all the ways Cairo reminded me of Shanghai, from the bustling streets to the vendors, to entire families riding a motor bike without helmets. Everyone seems real nice so far and I am really looking forward to meeting with our tour group tomorrow morning, it should be an exciting day!

One of the things I was surprised to see was how similar the advertising and billboards are here compared to north America such as McDonald's, Pizza Hut and my personal favorite "Arabs Got Talent".

I have some pictures on my camera but am too tired and really should be going to sleep it will be a LONG day tomorrow. I will hopefully post again tomorrow or the next day.
