I have been appointed official blog writer today as Shelley's hands are sore from pointing out all the things to see, as I am a slower typist than Shelley it may take you longer to read this one.
Today started with catching the Tube to Tower Hill and a walk around the Tower of London, where Shelley listen patiently (and for at least 20 mins look suitably interested) while I went on and on about the stonework in the place, I was amazed at the size of the place and the history surrounding it. After an hour or so the crowds arrived and it was time to move on, a quick coffee stop and a walk over the Tower Bridge and then along the Thames towards St Pauls Cathedral for a look. Lunch was a hot Pork Sandwich at Leadenhall Markets then back on the Tube to our local The Black Lion, where after 2 beers I have had enough of this blogging lark and am signing off. Well done Deano for getting those keyboard fingers working and giving poor Shelley's pointing fingers a rest. Studying the stone work makes me think you might want to build one of those when you get home..... The local pub sounds great and it can't be long now until you start on the next leg. I think I told you I had a wedding coming up in a couple of weeks and next week I am doing a funeral out at Tinopai. Scary thought but hey, I can do anything eh. Ewan sold some greenstone so things looking up a bit at the moment. Beautiful weather continues but cooler in the mornings now. Kowhai rang me this moring. She is applying for another job so asked for your email. Hope you don't mind but I gave it to her anyway. Great to talk to her. Take care both of you and continue on your merry way with a 'spring' in your step. See that play on words. Neat eh. Love yas. xxxxx

Good typing Dean! Are you sure Shelley's hands are sore from just pointing out things? Boy, you guys are fitting in heaps! Have started a 'Shelley travel blog' at Riverside kindy for all the parents to look at and follow your travels - may have to censor some entries? Have fun!

Hey Dean, you're pretty good at this blogging stuff. Well done!!! Didn't take me much longer to read at all. This is why the internet was invented, absolutely love the daily diary. It's Friday here as I type this comment and it's now 5.37pm. I am just scoffing down a delicious lamb kebab from Durkadurka kebabs and burgers up the road. Then it's time for a well earned beer. I was appraised today, it went really well so I'm guessing 1 beer is not where I'm going to stop. Love to you both, G.
