Here are some pics from Mt. Cook. This place is truly enchanting. Confession - I thought I had two days here - discovered this afternoon I have to be in CC by noon tomorrow for a flight to Wellington. It'll be a travel day so not much to report.

I'm 75, love to travel, especially to have an opportunity to meet "locals" and get to know more about life in the places I visit. I have learned that it is the little unexpected things that happen in the course of a trip/vacation that often end up as the best memories. I strongly suggest reaching out to "locals" on Trip Advisor and other sites. They are hands down your best source for planning.... full info
