How do I start this entry? Okay, so Ive been sick for a while now. Ever since I got to Bangkok really. The last full day in Bangkok, I woke up really sick after about only 2 hours of sleep and an extremely high fever. I visited about 5 pharmacists until one told me I needed to go to the hospital immediately. I went, and they diagnosed me with an intestine infection, hooked me up to an IV (for my very first time), quite scary actually, and told me I needed to spend atleast one night in the hospital.

Emily decided she wouldn't be able to sleep at our guest house on her own, so they rolled an extra bed in the room just for her. I was really happy, because the person sleeping next to me was snoring and I needed someone to laugh with.

Emily went back to our guesthouse, packed all my things, and came back to keep me company. It was a very uncomfortable sleep, because I couldn't sleep on my left side due to my IV being hooked up to that hand. I woke up the next morning, was visited by a very nice Thai doctor who was hoping I could change my flights that day and stay another night, but reassured me that as long as I took my (practically 2 kilos) of meds, I would get better soon. A pastor visited me shortly afterwards, which was wierd, becasue most Thais are Buddhists.

I was released at about noon, so we went back to our place, showered, I called my mom, and we left for the airport to catch our 4 p.m. flight. It was a close call, but we made it. We met Cody in the airport, and caught our next flight to Sydney. We arrived safely, al being quite deprived of sleep, and myslef feeling quite drugged up from all the meds. We're now at Noah's; a hostel listed in our lonely planet located right on Bondi Beach. The waves are unbelievable!! I'm feeling somewhat better, but I know with being in Sydney now, it can only get better.

Well, that's all for now. I will try to keep the entries fairly updated as wetrek our way through Australia. Miss you all more than ever right now!
