So anyways, I guess I have one more entry for you all before we leave for Australia. Funny story actually. Emily and I were starving yesterday at around 9 pm, and we had a craving for green curry with rice, so we set out on Koh Sarn Road to look for a reasonably priced restaurant. We came across one that looked fairly modern and nice, but both thought something seemed wierd about it after we walked in. There were only guys eating at the restaurant. After going inside, a man asked us if we needed any help. We just said we wanted to see the menu, so he sent us to the back. As we were walking, all the guys were just starring at us, so Emily and I just opened a menu and ignored what was happening around us. The menu turned out to be completely in Hebrew. We couldnt understand a word of it. Then we realized that most of the men were wearing the Jewish hats known as Yarmulkas or Kippas. We felt a little embarrassed, so we left hoping to find another place quickly before our stomachs started eating ourselves. It was worth a good laugh though.
