First Snow, Second Snow and More to Come

Saturday Morning - November

A dusting of snow greeted us this morning when we woke and looked outside. The forecast had called for snow and also for snow into next week.

Sunday Morning

We did not get much snow today, but it did snow.

Thursday Morning

The 7th day in a row with snow. Yesterday afternoon and last night it SNOWED, about 5 more inches. Not only did it snow, but it turned very cold. This morning the temperature stood at about 10f. And, yes more snow is in the forecast.

Early January

January 7th to be exact. If you have read the above, you know snow started late in November. Well folks, it is still here. I don't recall the exact numbers but I know it snowed for 9 straight days once it began. Then it rested for two days and then began again. I stopped counting at 22 days straight. We were away from Dec. 21st through January 4th so I have no record of what went on while we were gone. But the frozen sidewalks and streets and so forth are still here in Prague. The weather report yesterday said rain today and 5C. So we will see what happens. But since there has been no blog activity for a LONG time from us we decided to go ahead and publish this OLD news which is still NEW news.

Winter vacation is coming
Now it is the end of the semester, busy but very happy for the coming free time and happy to read your blog again. Keep writing, happy to see your life in Prague. It's really a heavy snow. We have snow here, but occasionally and very small and melt very soon.
