The wind is blowing and the annex is catching every gust. The rain comes and goes but is predicted to really storm with hail this afternoon. Now is the time to ask " How is the caravaning going?" .............
We've filled shopping bags up with sand to hold the annex down, but that doesn't stop the wind getting under the awning and lifting it just enough to enable the poles to fall out. Added to that the whole caravan rocks like a dinghy on the ocean. " How is the caravaning going?" ............. I think if you put the poles in running shoes the rubber soles and weight of the shoe should hold the pole in place. Ian thinks I am mad and removes the poles from the shoes. I replace them when he is out.
The kids pretend they didn't know about the spelling test, Ian is getting antsy about the mess and people taking up his space. The flies are hiding in the van.
I've got a good book a cup of tea and drawn the curtains separating me from the mayhem. I can't hear the chaos as the rain is hitting the roof with such intensity it is drowning out the Kid's cries, "Oh My God!! That one just got ripped out!!"
Caravaning is great!

thank you
Thank you for all the telephone calls. I have finished the third lot of anti biotics,so I hope I will improve. What a ghastly day with the wind and rain.It made me think of those lone yachtsmen stranded in the Southern ocean.I assumed that was where the wind was coming from. They have been very busy here trying to complete the cotton planting before it rains to morrow. Your photographs are very good.I really enjoy your daily updates. I hope the weather is fine with no wind. LOL Mum
