Gas Station AttendentsGas Station AttendentsGas Station Attendents

I was told that when the addendents go on strike some car owners don't know how to pump their own gas.
Kate, Emma, Corinna, I, and a couple other girls went to the mall today. Well, Tyger Valley Mall to be exact. There were no crazy old ladies like there were in Paarl Mall and there were much better stores than at the Cape Gate Mall, the mall I went to last weekend. In some ways, Tyger Valley was better than malls back in the US. It has a lower floor that is dedicated to banks and currency exchange, 3 or 4 different salons to get your hair cut, a grocery store, and a large food court with fast food like McDonalds and nicer restaurants as well. The clothing stores were good as well. I like shopping at home more though, I love the boutique shops. What I am most surprised about is the fact that there was a Cinnabon. I can barely find a Cinnabon back home, but there is one in SOUTH AFRICA. There are also Cinnabons on Peru! Kate went on exchange in Peru, so I have insider knowledge. Come on Cinnabon get some more stores in the US! Kate, Simphe, Sherlin, and I all got a peice of heaven. Well, not heaven but it sure was good.

Gas station attendants
A hundred years ago when I was in high school, there were gas station attendants here as well. You are just too young to know that. Ah, but to be young again. J

Pictures are worth a thousand words
Hi McKayla, The pics are great to have. I'm so pleased your mom included us in your blog. This is a fine way to keep in touch. So far, mall hopping seems not terribly unlike the US. Beyond the cinnabon, you didn't tell us of other purchases. Surely there was a piece of apparel! We'll look forward to regular blogging from you. Love, The Carlisles
