Teacher Appreciation Day

Friday was Teacher Appreciation Day and China and I must say I felt very loved. Students gave us cards and apples and things all day long and then we had a banquet at the end of the day with all of the teachers from Shanghai High School. There were sooo many teachers at the banquet and the food was wonderful. The after party was pretty great too because we went to a brew pub where they brew all of their own beer and make their own wine.

Appreciation banquet
I thought you just started teaching. Appreciation already. At least it should boast you for the rest of the year. I enjoy your photos and comments. The children look delightful. Enjoy this experience in a very different culture.
