A two hour drive from Odense across a spectacular bridge connecting the islands to Copenhagen brought us to the Danish Camping Union's main site on the outskirts of the city.
Here we caught up with the washing and cooked Sunday lunch ( Roast Chicken, potatoes and 3 veg ! ) using the trusty Remoska oven ( see Lakeland catalogue ) before heading into the city by train.
Evening visit to the famous Tivoli Gardens where we strolled had a drink and listened to the Tivoli Big Band.
Monday 6th
Copenhagen the pics speak for themselves, we followed a self guided tour furnished by the tourist information and took a boat trip on the canals.

Went to see Copenhagen's most famous landmark - the little mermaid - only to find its done a bunk to China for the world expo. In its place a live internet video link showing it being admired by the chinese ! Nothing else for it but to model for a replacement.

Afternoon visit the Carlsberg Brewery and get in some tasting....
