Bits we forgot to mention

we thought of a few things we forgot to tell you and have some time before we board the sea plane.

Did we mention to you that we travelled business class from Australia to LA?? well we did and we forgot to tell you that in business class you can make phone calls and we could send text messages - we sent one to Sally and one to Noddy and Gramps - the most amazing part about that was that all of the hostesses had never seen it happen before - they thought it didn't work - but it does .....
and in the loo in business class - there are towells to wipe your hands, deoderant, after shave etc just in case you want to freshen up and we were given eye masks and socks and re-hydrating cream and beautiful hot towells after we had breakfast.......

We thought we might mention that whilst in business class our thoughts drifted to the magical world that must be first class - and here is what we thought - we bet they give you fluffy slippers and dress you in your silk PJ's and put the slippers on for you, that you would be fed by the hostess, perhaps a cathetar inserted (so you don't need to get up) , read you a story if you can't settle, or sex if you can't settle.... Serious pods to sleep in - someone to tuck you in ,, someone to press the remote ....endless really.... Grant can you please confirm this ??

Last night we had superb Thai food and Thel started reading the menu and lost it !!! Lynne guess what the menu had fish in clay pots!! Took her a while to settle and most patrons realised after a while that she was just laughing and her red face did not mean that she was going to pop off....... I think the little Thai waitress wanted to touch her buddha like body........

Lights in all the trees in the main drags of Vancouver and it was busy because it was Friday night here, so people watching was really good and dogs and dogs and more dogs. Lou is more attached to them then children now!! Stopped a gorgeous guy last night with a 12 week old labby - he was seriously cute and the dog was too....

We are off on sea plane in a little while but wanted to check in again as it may be a couple of days and the stuff we forgot to tell you was too important to leave until then.

Well it's Sunday morning here, and Fathers Day ...... So pleased to see another entry describing your travels, and am laughing hard here, the cat think's I am seriously MAD .... Fish in Clay Pot .,.. yeah yeah ... it's haunting you Vic .... Ha Ha ... sooooo funny, can imagine the look on your face when you read that on the menu, and the reason why you would have been bubbling with mirth for hours and hours. OK what's cuter then ? the guys or the dogs? And think that you will both need rehab to get over Business Class travel, can you upgrade to come back home .... think of something creative and just see what happens ... or maybe your friend Grant could organise it for you! ... New Zealand is a mess, don't know how much of the news you will get to see over there ... but a 7.1 earthquake hit the south island, lucky it was the middle of the night .......... and sooooooooooooooooo lucky that Sandra and Greg are home!!!! Victoria is flooding big time, we had a big rain and wind storm last night for a little while, even blew me smokes off the verandah! Lots of footy finals, blah blah. What else can I tell you ... not too much, tis a tad quiet at 7.30 in the morning ... still on walking stick, try walking without it and look like i'm doing slow motion zumbah ! ..... maybe a little early to chuck out the stick ....
