Tonder Fest
Denmarks premier folk and roots festivalSaturday 28th August 2010
Woke to blue sky and sunshine and quickly broke camp.
After stocking up at the local markt we hit the road - destination Denmark - about a 4 hour drive.
First stop Tonder to draw some cash as, like the UK, Denmark is not in the Euro zone preferring to keep its own currency - the Danish Kroner.
Here we found Tonder Fest in full swing ! see pics.
The local campsites were full for the weekend so we headed west to the coast road and found a site near to the west coast island of Romo at Ballund.
Here free wifi and a new shower block with underfloor heating were attractive.
