Hey guys! Just wanted to let you all know that I´m here in Cartagena. The flight was fine and I actually wound up meeting an American guy in the line for customs and his friends from Baranquilla gave me a ride to a nice hotel outside of town. The were really nice and took me out to dinner and chatted with the family for a while. Worked out quite well! This morning I walked around on the beach for a while but it was cloudy and rainy so I headed into the Old Town part of Cartagena and found a hostel a little closer to the action. I checked into the place at the same time as some Aussies and have apparently found my new clan for the evening. We are planning to take a double decker bus out tonight, as this is supposedly the way to see the city. Should be fun! I´ll likely only stay here another day and then head to a small town called Taganga that is supposed to have better diving and beaches. then off to Tayrona and my Lost City hike. All is well, stop worrying, and I´ll try to update soon!

Sounds like you are off to a great holiday! I asked Fez what to say and Fez sayz,(add accent here)" Tell her to have fun, she is in Columbia, no matter where she is, she is going to have fun." He has not been to Tayrona and does not know where is Taganga or ever heard of it before. Enjoy the hike and take lots of pictures. Thanks for inviting me to your blog... Can't wait for more!!!
