Our first of many adventures with Tommy our Wee Caravan #1 The Pinery 2010

Hi All! This is a start to a new adventure for us. Pretty hard to top the OTR and PTR, but we will have fun trying!

This weekend we did our first camp trip with Tommy. Went to the Pinery. One of our favorite places. Great bike trails, campsites and beaches!
After setup on Friday we headed straight for the beach. Very hot and humid. Water was still quite cold, but refreshing like the beverages we took! We later enjoyed a quiet yummy firecooked meal. Not too late a nite on Friday. Thank goodness for the fan we bought!

Saturday, another gorgeous hot day. Went for a bike ride around the park, then lunch, then straight to the beach. We look like lobsters now!!! Another great fire cooked meal with some red wine, yummy!!! We also ran into Jackie Braden from RBC who was with us for the whole relay. Wow, small world! Great to see her again! Really early nite on Saturday. Too much fun in the sun!

Nice relaxing Fathers Day morning. Camp coffees, a little reading, breakfast and then a nice bike ride. Not so hot today. We saw the neatest sight on the trail. 3 buzzards soaking up the morning sun. Awesome site! Such a nice day we decided to stay another night. More relaxing, reading and another bike ride with a little picnicing involved. The park is so quiet on Sunday afternoon and evening.

Very quiet Monday morning. A couple of coffees, a little reading then packed up and headed home. It was hard to leave, but we have to get back to get ready for our next adventure later this week.

All in all, we are very happy with our new Wee Caravan. We have alot of plans for it! Enjoy the pics! Weedie and Jeepa.

HEY GUYS YOUR CAMPING IS A LITTLE MORE UPSCALE THEN WHAT WE WERE USED TO 20 OOPS..30 OR SO YEARS AGO. NEXT TRIP HAVE A FEW DRINKS ON ME.
