First off baby birds, I would like to address some things that just came to my attention that may make this one of the best days of the trip. Before going backwards in time with the delorean and the doc, lets take a minute to talk about what just happened in sports worldwide. We watched the opening game of the world up in Munich in beer gardens which was amazing. But I woke up this morning as excited as a mouse who just stole some cheese or peanut butter from a mouse trap and got away scott free and then told his other mouse friends and was thrown a parade. The Amerrrica vs England match is of course what I am talking about then I got slammed when I read my email, the comment from Patrick Wright and did my weekly or monthly check of espn and wham boise state is joining the MWC and the big 12 just lost nebraska and colorado. I am now like a moose who was given a muffin. I am excited beyond belief. Anywho, back to the Europe trip and Cinque Terre (pronounced Ch-inque Terre) where the stay started off interestingly. Once again, we arrive
at a place without a place to stay, typical Fisser Brother Extravaganza. We don't do it because we are not prepared, we do it so we can finally use our sleeping bags that have been useless thus far. Anyways, we meet Anthony and he offers us a place to stay, cheap and inexpensive plus he's wearing a fishing shirt, how harmful can this man be. Oh my goodness, you baby birds may be exclaiming, don't worry the leatherman was on my side ready for action. Turns out we pretty much had an entire room and bathroom to ourselves. We also received great humble advice from Anthony like if you jump into the water look where you are going to jump into it. Now if you don't know what or where Cinque Terre is wikipedia or google it. It is five small villages on the coast of norhtern italy. Let me tell you, if we don't post pictures, it is the most beautiful spot we have been too up to this point. There is a trail connecting all five villages with trails running up into the vineyards and mountains. If you don't know that I like hiking as well as Brandon,
my right hand man as he has been thus dubbed, then I don't know if I can even consider you a baby bird, more like an egg that has to be incubated. So we hiked and hiked and drank wine, then hiked, then drank wine and watched the sunset, then hiked and then drank wine. Thats our stop in Cinque Terre in a nutshell. But to go more in depth if you are still hungry for my thoughts, which I figured most people have stopped reading and are looking at the pictures, then here we go. Get ready to get your mind blown like PAH or POW. So... I was not lying when I said all we did was hike and drink wine and watch the sunset and meet amazing people. I just flipped through my journal, yes I am keeping quite an indepth journal, and every entry in there starts off the same...At Riomaggiore (or one of the other five villages) watching the sunset with wine after hiking. To put into perspective how small these villages were, there was only one bar in riomaggiore, and each town can be walked through in about five minutes. One man street in
each village and one port in each, or beach. Okay, I have ran out of things to talk about in Cinque Terre. The only day we did not hike, we went to Monterreso and had a beach day to recover
