1: rain 6 secs
Hey guys!

I've finally made it back... I think it took about four months for them to finish all my dental work, but they did and it was free. so it was worth it all in the end. I just want to say thank you for all the people who helped me when I was back in the U.K especially Polly and her family for letting me live with them! I wouldn't be here with out you guys..

So anyway! I've been back about two weeks and a bit.. Im living at the same school out in the sticks of Takeo province. Its beautiful flat countryside with the odd hill dotted here and there, Im trying to get out of the habit of saying this but its sooooooo hot and sooo humid. i wont say it again but believe me I've been sweating 24/7 non stop.. not a pretty picture or smell.. its between 35 and 40 most days and according to pat I missed the worst of it... thankfully were heading into rainy season, i always thought it was the sunshine i loved about this country but now overcast skies and heavy monsoon rain are what i long for. when it rains here it really rains some times for an hour or two, sometimes several times a day.. either way it always freshens up the air and makes it a lot cooler.

Not to much has changed at the school, except they have the new building built where I take a class of my own and that pat can speak a lot more Khmer then me..

I'm teaching Geography and humanities in my conversation class as the kids don't have the best grasp of countries and where they are in relation to Cambodia.. I also co teach in two or three other lessons helping the local teachers and students.

other things worthy of noting.. an infinite amount of mosquitoes and the bites to go with them.. huge red ant that bite are invading our house, especially aggressive after a failed attempt at removing a nest from the mango tree next to our steps. Really tiny black ants that seem to be living in my laptop and pop out of the keys every now and then. Just a huge array of insects from dangerous to annoying want to share all my personal space.. oh and that washing laundry by hand is really rubbish!

hope everyone's well

Lihi

bye

Hi Son Not sure that I could cope with big bugs like that in the bed! Do they bit or just eat you alive???? Chick looks sweet perhaps you should let her stay in the room with you and she could eat all the bugs, mosquitos and ants! Good to hear all is well and I am sure that you will enjoy teaching the kids geography. keep well and safe love and hugs Mum and Dad xxxxxxxx
