We woke up early this a.m, had a wake up call set for 7 so we could get up shower, breakfast and finish packing before the rental car was delivered at 9am. Turned the tv on and it was 530AM! My body is SO screwy, when i think of the time it is at home i croak!
This morning we decided to try a different breakfast we did the buffet. I had Irish cheese, poached egg, fruit and a croissant
Jared isnt loving the food...
Once our car was here we hit the road. Jared did fantastic driving...for a long time it was motorway, I was wondering if I was ever going to get to see the countryside. I saw a sign for Limerick and told Jared hop off the motorway I remember something in our itenerary about this!
Thank goodness for the GPS and Karen's chip, it knew exactly where we were and directed the entire way. We stopped a few times to grab pictures...which does not do this place justice. Absolutely amazing! The roads are so small and two cars going down at the same time can be a little nerve wracking. They have those stone walls down the sides and you just think you are going to hit the side of the car on it.
Checked into our hotel and we have a balcony, it's chilly today but the weather is everything I expect it to be here. Sunny, big clouds and a chilly breeze. Refreshing. Jared's allergies havent bothered him a bit here.
We asked the girl at the front desk where we could grab some lunch and she recommended this seafood/meat place down the road.
Everything Ive had to eat so far has been excellent. Today I did fish & chips. I wasnt totally impressed for a place so close to the Atlantic, we are like 3min from the beach...which I am hoping to get to before we leave tomorrow. Jared had some vaughn burger that came with a fried egg on top. I dont know how people here arent 400lbs with the way they eat and drink!
After lunch we headed to The Cliffs...on our way we passed a cemetary...as morbid as it is, from the road I saw a grave site with Dunleavy on it.
I was like Jared I just saw my name! He said we'll stop after the Cliffs.
The Cliffs of Moher are everything you see in pictures...absolutely amazing and breathtaking.
We dont have many plans for the rest of the evening, just relax maybe go down to the beach.

Cows
Come on!! They are Irish Cows! TOTALLY Different! :-) Sounds like me when I got all excited when I saw a cat in Belfast, or a rabbit. I got excited and Eoghan thought is was such a goof.
