Made it alive!

I´m here. I made it. I got to Madrid, and even found a place. That was an adventure. I just found the first place in my guide book and begged someone to give me directions. I don´t have a map, and people here seem to speak even less english than they did in Barcelona. This place is pretty dead, but sitting here at the computers I met this guy Ross whom I think I´m gonna explore with tomorrow. And so really I´ve got three nights here... but that really equals out to two nights, because tonight is pretty much done. I don´t have a map or nothing, and I don´t wanna get lost wandering around at night. Around the corner there seems to be a few bars, probably will try to get dinner from one of them, and then just read.

Oh yeah, another interesting fact... I get to go through Daylight Savings again! yay! It was oh so much fun the first time. And doing it here, where I´m just barely on a working sleep scheduel... well, whatev, guess that means it´ll make less difference for me than it would for others. Heh.

How nice there's Internet at this place too. Stay safe. A few people told me they really like iPods in Spain. Hope you're documenting your travels with photos.... the places you're staying as well as the more famous sights. Hope Ross is a good travel buddy. Enjoy tomorrow.

roam
ask your hostel or hotel for a map and some basic directions they are ususally more than happy to help. try going to a restaraunt and not a bar...better food and better service. oh and i found my rome book. a little to late but the name of that church with the bones is the tomb of the Capuchine Monks.... i'll look up directions for you when you get closer..if you want to check it out
